I have not heard of Angel, I would not buy a flute by that name. Angel is not one of the normal, name brand instruments, and with the recent influx of junker flutes, chances are very high it's one of those. The names on these flutes change constantly so that it's hard to even know how many different names they're produced under, but generally they have a terrible scale, poor construction from pot metal (which makes repairs very difficult), and a low quality mechanism as their trademarks. Chance are if you're spending less than a couple hundred dollars on a new flute, it's not going to be up to scratch. You can of course buy a used flute for less than this and have a good quality, name brand instrument, but it may need some reconditioning.

Definitely be careful. Anyone can buy a cheap flute blank and put any old name on a barrel.

There is however a music company called Angel which manufactures intstruments for Trevor James and Gemeinhardt (China).
