Flutie_tootie, you have a right to your opinion in what you like. That is what a forum is about, sharing. It is also a good learing experience. Don't give up on us.

Nothing wrong with your last post IMHO. It's just that your intentions when posting didn't match what you actually wrote. I was just clarifying for any readers that might come across this.

Yeah, don't feel too bad, Chris likes to clarify some of my posts too, even though, I do know a lot about what I am talking about, I just am bad with how I word it.

Where the heck did the edit button go? UGH!
I mean to say that I do have a bit of knowledge about FLUTES, not everything. That is my husbands department. He is the super smart one.

That's true. Kara is one of the most knowledgeable posters here, but we occasionally correct each other, as do some of the other major posters. It's all meant well, however, and is usually done pretty politely. We're just trying to be sure all the correct information is getting out there, without any confusion. You'll find that I'm corrected once and again as well, and I also have a pretty good knowledge of the flute. I'm sorry if I offended you at all.

I don't think it's a matter of being wrong...People just see an opportunity to start a discussion, or clarify something, which may end up developing into a war, based off of some minor comment you made. It's not your fault, and chances are they don't mean any offense to you. Personally, any time I enter into one of these discussions/wars, I'm looking for the chance to learn something...They don't serve only as wars, but also as good learning experiences where a lot of very valid information is shared. Try not to take anything too personally here, because chances are it's not meant that way.

We're paying extra for the craftsmanship, not the material!

Supposedly...But what then are the craftmanship difference between a $3k flute and an $8k one? Are you going to find any?

No, there is no "BEST" flute out there, it is all what you prefer. You did knock the other persons Gemeinhardt with your cheese statement though, so I was just dishing it back. I was only joking around though. Nobody is stupid! Everyone has something that they are good at, so just don't listen to them. I get labeled as stupid by others sometimes because my spelling sucks or I don't always use correct puncuation. Don't let um bring you down. Fat? No, no, they are just all to skinny me thinks! Lol!!!
