You do know that the correct spellin is "Trill"?
If you Google Flute Trill fingering chart, I'd bet you could maybe find one.

Actually the trills should be exciting and they could just as easily have been called !!THRILLS!!

At the risk of sounding like my mind is always in the gutter, I have to share... I saw the header to this post, "Thrill Fingerings," and wondered if we wandered back to American Pie band camp humor

Thrills was the word I used the first time I posted here about trills on my old Gemeinghardt... That was almost one year ago, already! I learned many things here, including several correct spellings for technical (and non-technical) words.

As a curiosity, in my mother tongue they are called "Trinos", as the same name given to the singing of many birds. Has it the same meaning (referring to birds) in English?

To Jose_Luis I would assume you are referring to 'trills', and yes, (being a bird-watcher) many birds' songs are referred to as being 'trills'. And it is quite sad that no one could ever hope to duplicate their (the birds) beutiful work for any instrument. Sorry for encouraging us all to get off topic, but I just couldn't pass this post up.

Right, Grieg-Bizet. Trills = trinos, both for winds and for birds.
What do you think of Vivaldi Il Gardellino?.

I can't say that I've ever listened to the entire thing (Il Gardellino), but I found some partial recordings, and what I have heard, I love (it actually reminds me of some of the beautiful birds we have in area during the summer months ). The great thing about Vivaldi's music is that it not only brings great emotions, but the uniqueness of his works. After listening (even a partial recording will work) I remembered how much I loved his music. Sorry to get off task again, but I think that Largo from Winter of The Four Seasons is probably his most touching piece of all. Definitely will listen to that before winter ends.

The full cycle of The four Seasons is wonderful. But some movements, particularly "Spring", have been so much heard and abused that has lost interest for me. A good idea to listen to "Winter" before the season ends (i.e, it has not yet begun). But our Winters here in Madrid are so mild that I cannot associate them to the furious weather depicted in Vivaldi's piece.

I gardellino is a short Concert (10 min. or less). I suggest you could enjoy most in Spring when birds come back ...

I love the version by Aurèle Nicolet. He plays many thrilling trills, particularly in the first allegro. Several notes are slightly out of tune, as it would be the case with the real bird. Unfortunately this piece is well out of my reach for still 2 or 3 years, even if everything goes OK. But the middle cantabile (a Siciliana, I think) is easy but requires a very good sound quality. I will start working on it on January.
