please give some ideas for flute pieces... i'm playing in a concert soon and i dont have anything to play! i'm looking for something grade 4/5/6 standard, as i dont have much time to practise, that preferably doesnt go above top g! (my bottom and middle registers are good but the top one isnt my strongest!)
any ideas would be great! i don't mind which period its from, as long as its not too long!
thanks.

Do not know much what those grades are, may be the Berceuse Op 16 (Faure) is not too much simple. I uploaded recently in this same site the pdf, midi and mp3, including the piano solo for accompaniment. I doesho a little higher that top G, but...

Well, I don't know what those grades mean (there are many grading systems that vary widely from place to place), but perhaps part of a Bach sonata or something else for traverso (which would mean something Baroque) would suit. Traversi didn't have the ability to play the very highest notes modern flutes can reach, so you shouldn't see anything extremely high written.
