Hi all!
i was hoping to play canon in d at a recital but can't find a good arrangement for flute and piano! If you know of any with the original music, or an advanced version could you please let me know, with the name of the book and other details so i can find it?

Hi,
I don't know how much this will help, but: I have a really nice version written for two flutes. It is arranged by Ricky Lombardo, and is rated at a level 4 piece. It is slow, but beautiful and the difficulty seems to have more to do with staying in tune with the other flute as you shift octaves. It is truly lovely and it is the version the 'locals' use when playing for a wedding. (So not too-too easy!)
If you play with a piano, the pianist could very easily simply play the second flute part on right hand, with chords on the left hand, easily improvised or even just with a few chords written out for the piano.
I have my friend's copy right now, and I don't know where she got it. I have seen Ricky Lombardo's arrangements available from flute music suppliers, so a Google will likely turn this up.
Good luck!
