Has anyone heard, played, or repaired one of these? I just aquired a super cheap new student flute by them just out of curiosity. I know they are made in Japan and are noted for making great pianos. I am looking forward to seeing what it is like.

I really don't know these flutes. But concerning the pianos, as you already said, they are very, very good.
But as we can't count on the same quality in their flutes, since they are apparently beginners in flute making, I would act with caution.

let me know if they make headjoints, then I can get one for my Simba flute...

It is just a student flute that I bought. It does look very nice, but pictures can be deceiving.

This flute was made in Japan. Is Hernals?
