Actually, I think the Tom Greens use Crazy Glue, but they might have reverted to Elmers. Hahaha....JK, of course!

Doesn't the Tom Green flute have wavy tone holes or something? Oh not wait... that was Muramatsu wasn't it? lol! Oh yeah and Altus was the one with the filed on the edge of the tone holes right? Now Powell uses the super glue method I think.

"When it comes to me, perhaps you could take control of the fertility of your imagining mind! Surely I'm not worth all that effort to you!"
Wow. I guess then the lot of us must have an imagining mind. Hmm....
Give it a rest Micron.

About 6 months ago I played a Mura EX for about a week during a test-before-you buy program and found the mechanism to be the best of all the flutes I tried. I loved the lower registers and overall sound/tone/color but found as you did the high register was very difficult (a player problem I am sure-based on headjoint cut) so I ended up buying a Pearl which had a great upper range but a more difficult low C/B-- This is due to the way the headjoint was cut etc IMHO. In the end you learn to overcome these problems and once mastered I am sure the high registers of the Mura would be great just as I am slowly mastering low C/B on my Pearl.
