It is tradition in my school to get the band teachers a gift when you leave the school we are going to make them a photo album and most likely get them a couple of gift cards to best buy or something we would like to give them something a little more meaningful we thought engraved batons but i would like some more sugestions but we don't have much money to spend either so if you have cheap sugestions (anything you can think of)

if you mean a conductor baton it usually costs about 40 dollars. for our band director during our fanaly concert, near the end when she's giving out awards we give her flowers and give a little speech. you could try that maybe, probably w/out the speech you could if you want if you are like, sayin' it to the director. it's cheap and meaningful and something ur band director might love. our's is the devil and she absolutely loves it. i sure hope that's one good suggestion, actually 2.

Sorry I didn't get back to you faster! I have a variety of batons, but my favorites (and everyone else's) so far come from the Premier line. Their website is here:

I'm partial to the Scherzo or Overture grips, but if all possible, take a look at your director's batons to see what length and type of grip they seem to prefer, so they have the opportunity of using your gift.
