Hello Friends

I just wanted to say goodbye to the forum as I have decided to hang up the flute for good, it is just too competitive and frustrating to play this instrument any more...

Thanks for all your kind words over the last couple of years...

It's about time...

And I had a bunch of testimonials I wanted to send you too...like:

Take a masterclass with Petric...sure, he's ugly, but you don't have to look at him to learn something...

Petric...Yah, he's a great flute player and teacher, But I can eat more pizza than him...

Petric is a better flute teacher than shoe salesman (private joke)

All Petric's students bend their flutes in the middle...It's part of the learning experience..You'll end up doing it right before a recording too if you've learned well enough from him. Flutes are to be sat upon...not played..

Petric maybe short, but he's taller than Galway...

Joe B
Petric....So when are you coming up to visit and buy me Chinese food for the providing you with all these great quotes? HHHmmmmm???

In case any of you didn't know...Petric and I went to college together.. We were in the same fraternity too...except I was president and he was a peon...

Yes, Patrick, it probably is a good idea for you to give it all up. It's been obvious for quite sometime that you have just been barely hanging on, and it's best to cut loose before you completely lose it.

I hear that there is an opening at you local WalMart for a greeter. Sometimes they let you sit on a little chair there at the door while you smile and welcome all of the shoppers.

Your past experiences could come in handy also! They sell "First Act" flutes there, or something very similar. I know how you love to sing the praises of those flutes.

Do try to take it easy and calm your nerves. Maybe you could take up a new hobby or something? I hear needlepoint is quite relaxing.

for those of you wondering about where I have sent my resume for my new life, I have put in to be a pooper scooper with the circus, very promising...stand-in for adult film actor (dialogue scenes only) and baldness drug tester, the last is my best hope...

Finally! Petric is leaving! Jeeze, I wondered when he would just give up; he's not any good anyway... That recording I bought of him just sits on my shelf, covered in dust. (^_-)

You're seriously in Kappa? I'm considering finding a way in when I start my serious classes for music ed. and performance.
