I do. I`m not a flute but it dosen`t matter. For me it`s all about preformances. Out on the field it`s only about pleasing the croud.

I do marching band (From June to Mid-November), then our school moves into Concert season (December to June), then the "process" starts all over again. For myself, I just adore doing marching pratice, as well as concert season.

My fellow band nerds! i would like to announce that.....MARCHIING BAND ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF!

I`m in a College Band. And believe me everyone the rules are different. In my band, my director doesn`t care if you wear sunglasses on the field. In fact, since we DON`T wear hats or other headgear on("b/c it`s a blind spot when we perform"-my director,)it gives the audience that you going to have a good show or an awsome show.Sure it may take a lot of time off of your studies, but hey, if got it the time go for it. If you think high school band is crazy try be in a band where I am.

I play in the flute in our marching band! I love marching! Our show was "Star Wars the Dark Side Episode 2003" It was the best show ever! Next year we are doing a pirats theme! I think that will be really fun too. Next year I am going to play the Piccolo! I can`t wait! FLUTES ARE THE BEST THING IN THE BAND!...and PICCOLOS!

Our band is doing Pirates of the Carribean!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooooooooooooooo excited for band camp to learn our new formation and everything!!!

Wow that a lot of people . our band comsists of about 75 or less. our school just split in half about a year ago. i go to south johnston and they built a west johnston and split our school. half of our marching band went over there. we had about 160 to 180 before the split . but 300 and some thats a lot. well talk to yall later.
