For those of you who might be interested, there is a new cooking show starting to air on public TV here in the states called Lidia's Italy, I recorded the sound track you will hear along with guitar, oboe and cello, very nice music, we may even be producing a CD in the near future...

It drives me right up the wall when a TV show's theme, or score, uses a fake (synthesizer) flute.
I can stop yelling at the TV now!

Patrick, you are amazing! I actually read this post about five minutes before the show was on and, after doing some quick channel surfing, I found it! You did every single flute part on the show? Wow.... *open mouthed* It's exactly how a flute is supposed to sound.

if you get channel 13, WNET from New York City, it is on Sundays at 5:30

I am familiar with Lidia and her show, but is this a new one? I looked at our local listings and found her show, but it didn't specifically say "Lidia's Italy". So, I'm not sure about it.

Patrick, no way I can watch the show in Spain. What about posting a short part of it here (mp3) or Youtube (video)?
I have heard that it is not considered to be a copyright violation when publishing excerpts no longer than 15 seconds if taken from public TV and used in the context of illustrating an article or similar purposes.
Do you think you could get permission from the rights owner to do that? After all, they are interested in receiving as much feedback as possible...

Kippsix, Lidias Italy is a new show and hasn't aired yet is some markets...

I will try to post some excerpts here, we may be making a CD of the music anyway, which would be out this summer, I should know soon...
