This isn't involving a teacher,but its still as funny.

At lunch there's this girl who annoys the living crap out of me.Well she always has her back to me and me and my friend scotty always get frys,well I throw them at her and she never knows who does it.She turns around angrily and looks around and turns back around.
Well I had to go to the bathroom in the bandroom(the only bathroom I trust since we sit by there its also convenient),I had boughten a pretzel for lunch and I had finished and I still had some cheese left.Well Scotty got part of what was rest of my pretzel,dipped it in cheese and thrown it in her hair.
As she was doing this I walked out of the bandroom and she turned around and blamed me.I said so what if I did it,it was hilarious.(the chick who gets food thrown at her)
And as we were leaving lunch,someone from upstairs threw a cup of pineapples at her and she got soaking wet and she started to cry.I know its horrible,but she sorta deserved it,but we all laughed,even her friends.
...Then she started to laugh....and told the kid thank you....
but then Ms.Anderson,the dean,came and took her to the office,then we didn't see her for the rest of the day...

Awh.. poor girl! Even if she is annoying, she still has feelings. I woudl NEVER want to be that age ever again!! I hated school!

And to you Az... I am sure there is more to the story, but I can't even remember it all. I do remember the part where my friend and I who shot the rubber bands got sent to the office and had refferals written up on us. We were sitting outside of the priniples office and they were laying on the desk. The principle was no where to be found... so what do you think we did? We stole them and ran and flushed them down the toilet! Then my friend wrote the teachers phone # on that bathroom stall. She knew it because the old crabby teacher went to her church and it was in their directory. Then a few days later after we and I am sure MANY other students prank called the poor old lady we were called down to the principles office again (luckily I didn't eat beans that day) and she and the principle took out this anwering machine and began to ask us if we knew what it was. Then he played back some of the messages. lololol!! It was so hard not to laugh! Luckily I never got in much trouble with my parents. They were really cool. I don't think I even knew what grounding was until I got my first boyfriend. That is a whole other story in itself in which I will not bore you with the details.
I really wasn't a bad kid, just kind of bored in school I guess. I never went to wild parties or anything or did drugs so I guess I wasn't toooo bad.

Going to wild parties and doing drugs was what High School was all about wasn't it? Oh, and college, Oh and Grad School, Oh and your internship, Oh and the rest of your life! Party on Garth!

I really want to know why there were not more times I got into trouble. I was a good kid, most of the time, but I knew how to cross the line, like I was also the bathroom bomber, and I really did drink before school, as this was sorta common in my hick town...I got into lot's of fights mainly when someone called me a flute f**. Not cool, and guaranteed to set me off. There are plenty of guys who play flute in the world. In fact probably half of the most famous flutists are male! "Call me that again, and you eat fist!" Ok, so maybe I was a terror...oh and mental! ;-)

I am not embarrassed or proud of any of the bad things I did, and I am not a bad person, but sometimes, I just had waaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaay too much fun. I still do, and one of these days on this board, I am going to offend someone, it will happen. I probably already have, but as Popeye once said, "I am what I am."

I like all of you out there who I have chatted and emailed, and I hope this thread continues. It seems to be full of the human side of us all. I like that! I like it a lot!

i was in ap chemistry my senior year, so the teacher let us play with the chemicals and stuff during lunch as long as we were careful. and one day i may have poured alcohol all over the lab table and lit it on fire. and i may have gotten a "talk to" as well. but she couldnt yell at me too much because she was laughing too hard. ah, good times.

I have been gone a while and it looks like you guys haven't gotten any smarter. Talking about kittens (which are crap in my opinion) is not a persuit of an educated man like myself. Plus, you all seem to be having a lame contest to see who is bottom banana in the 'I screwed up in school even though I was awesome on the flute' catagory. Well, azfluteboy, I think you should be ashamed to have forgotten your flute so many times and even more ashamed that you thought you were good but so clearly weren't. As soon as you can come to terms with your abilities the better because delusion is one of the most insidiously rampant diseases plaguing you so-called "musicians" if you catch my drift.

I was laying low for a few weeks to make sure the heat cooled itself down a bit, if you know what I mean. More specifically, I was threatened by a member of this forum. Turns out that she (actually a 'he' but that is another story) thought she was top dog around here and told me to get lost or she would find out where I live and come get me. I won't say who it was but I will say her (his) name starts with a "K".

Well, I locked myself in a barn and practiced until one of my fingers almost fell off. I rediscovered the thumb hole on my instruments and got my tongue in slapping good shape.

After this amount of learning I am now obviously the undisputable top dog and no one could ever achieve my level of ability - no matter how hard they tried.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but then again, who really cares about the underachieving masses?

I wouldn't worry about it too much except the fact that he is being downright mean to some of my friends. They shoudn't have to put up with this, they don't deserve it, no one does. I guess the kitten remark was the last straw since the poor little thing ended up dying. Sorry for going off.

dont apologize for speaking your mind! youre a grown woman and entitled to being a, erm, female dog when you darn well please! obviously this kids parents hadnt taught them the value of a good ol' fashioned spanking and other various methods of discipline and its rather unfortunate. youre the adult in this situation and they are the child.

Well...I didn't have time to read ALL of the responses...but here are some things that I recommend...
1) Always compliment before you criticize. There is always something good in everyone. I have learned this from years of teaching. They respond better if they feel that they don't suck at everyting.
2) one of my students did cute little things to unite the section. She made different days at band camp different themes....kinda like homecoming week. This turned out great for her and really made the section bond.
3) deal with behavior problems with that person only. Don't make anyone feel like they stick out...that is horrible in HS. Everyone seems to want to fit in.
4) remember that you were given that position for a reason...even if you were the only one...that means that you were the only one to 'step up' and take over. You need to lead.
