I am breaking out the digital camera tonight and taking a picture of my head joint...have you ever noticed the work "head" and "joint" "refer" to the same topic?
(Yes, I do have a life time subscription to High Times!)
(if you believe any of this, you really don't know me!)
Now to think of it, you don't really know me....and I have referenced pot, marijuana a few times...hmmmmmm....I got you all wondering now!

in my 30+ years of playing, I have seen many headjoints come and go, and many stick around, if you want a low resistant, free blowing headjoint, they are still out there, Drelinger is one of the popular ones in this category, but if you opt for this, you will get a sound with less nuance, the color will be constant, which is good if you like the edginess...
but I now know why most seasoned pros opt for a head with some resistance, one has to work harder, but the variety of colors is more than the rainbow, maybe this is why many of the pros I know here in NYC play on old instruments with the original headjoints...
