Looks like they took that out of the ad. It used to say that the flute had a G flat extension.

Usually these things come with certain compromises. In this case, your C#s may become shorter and thinner.

Looks like there are plugs in the holes.

Yes, The KG Special is an open hole flute. This one has plugs. For the money it may have been worth $800 (No bids) but at the retail price, I'd probably look to other brands of flute.

having special keys for flat notes would take us to times before the tempered scale. Maybe it is a VERY old instrument..
