What is the difference between a 17-0 and an 18-0 Artley Flute?

My daughter had a 17-0 that was nickel plated years ago and now has a 18-0 that is silver plated is that the only difference. I am sorry if this is a STUPID question but I am just curious what the differences were.

Thanks

That's the only difference that some cursory research turned up for me. Artleys were student instruments, and no matter what features they may have had, they play like student flutes. And that's what's really important....How they play, not what features they have.

Thank you.

She had the 17-0 when she was in school and she recently gave it to a little girl that wanted to play but her parents couldn't afford to buy her a flute.

My daughter began to miss her flute a little, she thought she could play it in church from time to time, so I got a chance to get her a 18-0 and I bought it for her. I was just curious about the differences.

She has never had a nice flute so she won't know what she is missing.

Thanks again.
