Thank you very much for your message. I had the pleasure of studying with Mr. Kaplan and know him quite well. The past 2 years we have made 100% French model OPEN HOLE flutes. the 2 preceeding years all but 4. OPEN HOLE flutes are superior in most every way and for those who prefer CLOSED HOLES we provide a set of plugs to put in the holes. We do have a 6 month wait on most models, but do have a few new flutes which we make for display which may be available. Please let me know what specifications you desire such as B or C foot, inline or offset G, silver, 14K gold or whatever you desire and will be pleased to assist you. You are trying to argue about something that has no answer, it is subjective, like saying which is the best rock band, etc...art is subjective...

Why is this guy a troll when he has a strong opinion?

I guess if everyone is the same there will be no arguments. I know of a few places where everyone is the same and differences are not tolerated. Does anyone with a brain really want to be involved in that?
