this is from a person who has posted here a few times, and said in one of their post I think 2-3 months ago they just stared the flute, but yet they say this

"I have become one of the better flutists in my city. After all, flute wasn't that difficult. Clarinet was much more involved. If you can play the slide whistle then you can play the flute. It's THAT easy."

Now I am not stirring up an issue, but please you can learn the complete professional skills, talent, feature, and let alone great playing in a couple of weeks, and it irritates me to think someone could think the flute is such an "EASY"!!!! instrument, its completely ridiculous, cocky and a down right liar. and I think this fit perfect in the flute forum, since its such an "EASY" instrument....Ah

It is all babble nonsense and this person is just trying to get a rise out of us. I would kick his butt anytime on the flute!

It depends on what city he/she is talking about. Maybe he/she is the only flutist there, so it is not so difficult to become the best...

More seriously, if the person could play clarinet at a high level and is very gifted for the flute, it could be he can get a reasonable playing level in such a short time. Or is it so much impossible? (open question).
From there to declare himself "the best in town" it takes a short step (and a big, big Ego).

his account was blocked from posting and his new account(how typical) has all those false, and bull accusations on how"easy" it is to play the flute, and that the "clarinet" is a lot more involved, NO! there are just as many steps, skills, differences, and features to master on the the flute as there are on any instrument, let alone the clarinet?

it doesn't even bother me anymore, i think though that people, and and the people who worked so hard to be as good as they are on their flute should hear it, but hey he wants to degrade us well do it back. so o well

Jim and phil are both on this, and he post every where and u know its jim, since his post here he uses the wrong grammar and uses all the """""" and the---- in his writing and he accidently put his last name at the end of a reply so he made a new forum saying i dont know how that happened were are not the same, yet he types the same way wow, pathetic, and phil, is there i saw his username PhillpMc i really think we should contact a mod, admin or something and warn them that hes there to start issues and might break up some of the forum, we have proof, and he also said he was going to another forum to annoy or what ever them, i think we should warn the people of other forums

Yeah, the infection is spreading. But this time somewhere else. Tens of post on every imaginable subject, all signed by "jimdand".

I feel sad for that people there at flutetalk!
