Is there a difference between the regular gemeinhardt flutes and the so called 50 series?

They're not my favorite either but I'm working on selling one on ebay and I want to promote it well. Is it true that they have white gold springs? I think I also found that they have a different headjoint (H1), but none of the information on the net seems very reliable. I emailed gemeinhardt but I don't know how far that will get me.

Does anyone else have any information?

i think they just have a gold plated lip plate (at least the student model did and that was the only difference). good luck finding out!
