I played this at a recital today along with all my flute teacher's students. I am also playing this at Solo/Ensemble next weekend (minus the Cadenza, sadly cause its my teachers and one of my favorite parts, and most of the third page is out.. its too long otherwise.
I'm really glad she had a recital this year because she hasn't done one for several years, and I really liked getting to do my own Cadenza.
Comments to improve it are appreciated! I will (hopefully..) be playing it a bit faster next week.. I was really worried today that I was going to start it way too fast that I ended up playing it just a tad under my tempo, which I guess is better than too fast :P Time didn't matter today anyway
Enjoy!

nice playing!
I do have a few thoughts for you...
1.) try to play with the stand lower, we can't see you, you can even put the stand off to the side if you prefer to keep it higher up, but don't play to the music, play to the back row..
2.) Use vibrato on the longer notes only, if you let your vibrato creep in on faster notes, it makes you sound nervous..
3.) I like the tempo for now, you can always play it faster in time, but it sounds faster if you have all the notes
4.) there are some effective exercises you can do to help hit those low D's cleaner, I can post them later when I have more time, or you can message me..

Nice playing! I need to get the sheet music for that........
<Added>
I agree with Patrick, both on the vibrato and the stand height. Me being 5ft. 10in. tall, I have to have the stand up all the way, but I usually either put it lower so that my face is visible, or put it off to the side so that the face is visible. For me, anyway, by the time I go to perform, I know the music almost to the point of memorization, so that the stand is just there for dynamic guidelines and such. Making sure the audience can see your face is especially important on instruments like the flute (not so much on oboe; the sound from oboe still goes out, not into the stand), seeing as the sound will mostly go into the stand.
Sill, gotta say, you sound beautiful! :)

Thanks for the feedback!!
I think my vibrato sounded a lot faster than normal.. probably just nerves.
I'll remember about the stand. I did try to put it low enough, but being that we were on a raised part in the room and since my mom was in the 2nd row, you still couldn't see me.
Thanks again! Keep 'em coming
