vibrato is generated from the throat, and supported by the diaphragm for pressure and resistance. There is no vibrato from diaphragm since it is an involuntary muscle. The oscillation is produced or controlled by the throat. Vibrato embellishes the sound/tone that it should sound natural, not forced and to the need to the music.
