Ok, I get it now. I've been practicing since 10:00 this morning(my time zone anyway) and I can play up to the "a Tempo(vivo), where it starts getting pretty hard with minimal mistakes, of course it will never be perfect, but I'm going to try and get it as close as possible. Thanks for the help all!!

One more question:

At the ossia, I don't like the optional measure so I'm trying to play it normally, but the fingering is extremely tricky there...going from high G and slurring down F#,E,D, and then repeating 3 more times. Is there an alternate fingering that I am not aware of that would make this simpler?

you could try it with the optional f# on the right hand, finger 5 instead of 6, but you really just have to practice it slowly and build smooth technique
