Hi,

I need to purchase an intermediate flute for my daughter. I was considering the Pearl 40th Anniversary 665 RBE Coda. This comes with a Forza headjoint.

The other consideration for the same price is a Pearl 695 RBE Dolce. I hear great things about the Forza headjoint and also overall of the Dolce.

Fluteworld has them both for $1495.

What are your opinions?

Dan

I guess I should rephrase the question some what.

Which would one value more, The the Forza head joint on the Quantz 665 or the better construction of the Dolce 695.

The Dolce has the Forza Headjoint also.

The Anniversary models are limited edition. They are essentially 665 or 765 Coda models including extra features without the extra costs. Most notably, the Forza headjoint, plus the limited edition engraving, serial numbers, case covers and case lining tag.

Dolce (and Elegante) feature upgraded keywork and wood cases. The Stock Forza headjoint on these models is normally the upgrade but was included on the lower priced anniversary models to celebrate Pearl's 40th Anniversary year.
