Hi!
I am beginning to study this Sonata in Em and I have prepared a midi/mp3 accompaniment for ist first movement (Adagio ma non tanto).

If anybody is interested in having a copy I can mail the file -for free. Just send me an Email or post here.

Not much feedback, really.

Anyway I have uploaded the files to this same site, but they are pending for approval. Usually it takes a couple of days. Check my profile after a while if you want to listen to the accompaniment (clavi + cello).
The tempo I set is good for my practising of a good tone, but a little slow for an actual Adagio ma non tanto (1/8 = 75).

I am aware the files are far from being refined; I have included no dynamics, breath marks and the like. I have to see those details with my teacher before doing it wrong.

I find this Adagio really beatiful and moving. I really enjoy playing it with the recorded acc, makes me dream I was playing in a chamber group....

You have a lot more patience than me, that is for sure. I just buy the accompaniment off line for a few dollars and download it. Did you know that these sites are available? I use to write out some of mine before I knew of these sites. It is very nice of you to offer it to people. That must have taken you some time.

It does take its time. But I consider it part of my musical practise (though not of the instrument), as I have to decide and check and consult many things. I also have to read and listen to the piece so many times that I practically memorize it.

One advantage of doing it onself is that a I can set the tempo to work on the piece at different speeds as I progress.

I do not know about of the web sites that offer those files cheap. I would appreciate if you could provide some so I can see if I could save work by buying there.

Kara, please let us know where some of these sites are! I always end up buying a whole CD with a bunch of pieces I don't even need. I did not know you could get them individually.

I did versions in the past in MIDI of the ones that are generally considered the 6 Bach sonatas. With the 1034, I particularly like the 3rd mvt.

Thank you Kara for the links. I will visited those sites and see.

Bilbo, if you still have those MIDIs, could it be possible that you upload some of them to the 8 notes site? Say, that 3rd movement (Andante) of the 1034?

OK, I visited the free link, it has so much material in it! Wonderful.

The accompaniments with piano are what I will be using, but I need first the full movement including the flute, so that I can learn how to play along and not get lost.

Wrong timing is one of the many problems I have when playing duets or with recordings as the midis). But this is may particular problem and those that are more advanced sure can make great use of this site -as is-. And I still have to visit the others sites you so kindly provided.

An advantage of the file I have uploaded is that it is a mp3 file and so it can get uploaded into any ipod-type device and no need to play it by the computer.
A disacvantage is that mp3 cannot be modified so I also uploaded the midi file, it can be changed easily (provided one has a midi editor or equivalent).

Hi Jose,
Just sent you a PM.
Sorry to be slow to return here. I've been busy practicing.
