Is there anyone from Kansas that will be trying out for the KMEA honor band? If so, let me know what you think of the tryout music and its difficulty. I think it is fun to play and somewhat challenging.

I think it's defiantly challenging to play in the correct style, not the notes so much. But all that double tonguing!yikes!
The International Music Co. publishing is edited by Rampal. I don't know what KMEA is looking for with regards to that. The safe thing to do is get a good publisher's original score.
