Hi Everyone,
So for those of you who have tried lots of pro flute headjoints,
Which are your favorites and why? Be specific..There will be a test at the end

These guys. Best wood headjoint that I know of. (have one myself). Very nice tone as well.
the best metal ones that I have tried at Landell's. But there are an almost infinite amount of choices here in terms of geometry and cuts. The reason I like them is because they are very reasonably priced if you stick to plain silver and no fancy options. It's possible to get one for not much over $1000 this way. And, it's 100% custom if you want a specific combination.
Though, I have to admit, he is a bit of a snob when it comes to flutes. He really talked down Yamaha and anything not small shop/handmade. So just focus on the headjoints. (I didn't find it unreasonable to inquire about a $1200 or so custom headjoint for my Yamaha at the time)
