So i am a freshman in highschool and when i joined marching band(playing flute) i fell in love with the piccolo.
Anyways I have been looking online and I found a beautiful emerson piccolo. I need some opinions on the brand and whether it is good for a beginner.

The piccolo player in my city's symphony orchestra recommends Emerson piccolos for beginners. I have tried both wood and composite Emerson piccolos, and found them to have decent intonation in comparison to other student brands.
Shop around! Any experienced player will tell you that you really should try an instrument before you buy it.
