To make any sound from youtube into mp3, do this:
- download Audacity from the sourceforge.com and install it. It's free.
- download the LAME mp3 encoder from the link on the same site. install the application and note where you put it in your computer,as Audacity will latyer ask you the question.
- start Audacity and begin recording (red button)
- watch the youtube video. Audacity will record its sound. Be sure you have the proper settings as line or mixer input to Audacity (try the options available)
Once you have the recording of the video sound in Audacity format (play it to hear if it's OK and delete the silence at the beginning, if too long).
- Export the Audacity file as mp3. The first time you do it Audacity will ask you where to find the .dll Just tell it the correct file.

And there you are. Enjoy!

another tip for Audacity,
ou can have Audacity search for the LAME file by entering Edit/Preferences/File Formats. Of course the DLL needs to be on your computer. As Jose mentions this only needs to be done once.

To record in Audacity the shortcut is to push the letter "R" key and to stop recording, depress the space bar. If you hit the space bar again it will play/review that which Audacity has recorded.
