Hello Flute People
I play clarinet but have decided to take up the flute as well. I have acquired a used Yamaha VFL 225S, in excellent condition,at a very cheap price. I know nothing about the pedigree of flutes, so can anyone tell me if this is a good one ? Many thanks.

Sounds like you made a good purchase. 200 series Yamahas are an excellent instrument to start out on.

If it has recently has a proper service to make sure it is in good playing condition, then it will be a great flute.
