Thank you all over the sugesstions
Overall I have a great tech he is a professor in woodwind repair so i have no problem there in fact i bring my other flutes too him all the time and he fixes them better then anyone.
In high school i almost bought a pearl flute for 5000 but when we played tested it the sound was no better then my gemeinhardt lol. As for Muramatsu flute I will be trying a few different models and seeing if i like them or not .Sonare have a lot of problems so my teacher doesnt want to go that route but she like the powell head joint .I have played one before and fell in love with it but they dont make that model anymore and my friend wont sell her no matter how much i beg. I looked at a higher model of their flute but they were sold out We will try haynes i was looking at their flute last night i like the key style and every where i looked no bad comments on the model i was looking at.I am never getting another armstrong again i refuse too I used to like gemeinhardt but your right not on a pro model overall i am going to get the three model of lyric ,two of sankyo, three of Muramatsuand three model of resona .My teacher plays powell i love them but hate there price lol i will have to wait for that
thank you so much Beca

Definitely try Pearl flutes.
I have a Pearl Dolce CODA. I use a Yamaha EC headjoint on it though instead of the Forza it came with because my sound is MUCH more focused and clear with that.
Definitely try as many flutes as you can. I tried quite a few including some of the $5,000 Miyazawas and my sound (with trying all their headjoints too) just didn't compare. My flute cost around $2,600 total with a GREAT sound.
And as mentioned, don't just go for all solid silver as a silver plated Miyazawa will sound better than a silver Gemiendhardt any day

resona is like, how powell is to sonare, to burkart.
burkart flutes are AMAZING!
i say get an intermediate yamaha flute and then get a burkart headjoint.
