I have a friend who bought a flute from some person who does homemade gold plating and offers it on student model instrument. The plating wore off after a few days and the flute is an absolute mess... all out of adjustment and everything. Be careful when you see an ad offering all of this "fancy" stuff on student flutes. It's usually a big ripoff!!
