Hi!

Anybody knows what kind of headjoint is this? It is said to have come with a handmade flute by emerson. Maybe an old model?

Hi Jose_Luis
The flutes of Emerson DeFord have come under a variety of names.
"DeFord", "Emerson" and they have a fair amount of variety to their lineup:

The head joint is offered without the body/foot and is said to be silver. I have no more data apart from a couple of photos and I was curious about it; I found it in Ebay but cannot see it anymore. It was priced at some 25 $...

I would be reluctant to purchase such a head joint because the issue is that Emerson DeFord has produced many head joints that are solid silver OR silver plated and you don't know for sure if any damage has been experienced by this head joint relative to the sensitive areas of it. In this instance I would not buy because one probably can't see and try it first.
As far as head joints go, there are many brands that are being offered lately. It's a lucrative area of the flute industry because people seem to want to put a lot of their interest in choosing an instrument/head joint that will make their sound easier to produce.
