Hello all,
I was on ebay recently, and noticed that a nice emerson flute markede ELD ended its auction with 0 bids. It had open holes, low Bfoot, and a stirling silver body and headjoint. The asking price was $400 dollars. This is the description with the listing: "Here's an Emerson Flute in excellent, super clean, condition. Solid silver head, body & foot, open hole with inline G key, low B foot with gizmo key. Head is stamped H C, the body rib is stamped X215 which I guess is the serial #, the foot rib is stamped STW which I'm pretty sure is for silver thin wall. Pads are excellent, Flute is fully adjusted & in playing condition. Comes in an excellent French style case & with a leather Reunion Blues Case Cover."
I was curious to see why it ended with no bids, and looked up "emerson ELD" on google. I couldn't find anything, exept for the fact that somebody liked the series better than the Yamaha flutes that are below the 500 series. I couldn't even find the flutes on the emerson website.
Does anybody know anything about Emerson ELD flutes, or even why nobody bought the Emerson listed on Ebay?
