I really want to buy a flute., but I just don't know how to pick one., can you help me..

Are you just starting to learn to play? Is this going to be your first time playing the flute? Is this going to be your first flute?
Or would you consider yourself an intermediate and wanting to step up to a better flute?

If you already play flute, then try out several (or many) until you find one that you and your teacher (or an experienced player) agree on.

If you are new to playing flute, then you should absolutely seek the advice of a good teacher ... and don't buy anything until someone with experience can try it out for you.

This would the first time that I wil play the flute and to have a flute. Would you recommend something? I don't have a teacher to guide me. Please. Please.

You can't really go wrong with a student yamaha flute. the YFL-221 is the current student model. If you are buying new make sure to get it looked over by a repair tech! If you are new to the flute world you can buy used but be careful. You may need to spend $200+ on repairs. Yamaha's are pretty strong and sturdy student models but there also are Gemeinhardts, Jupiters, and others. If I were you I'd stick to a yamaha.
