Gold plating will have to be redone over time. Sometimes gold plating can react to your skin. My skin eats gold. My mother used to buy me gold plated jewelry and I would wear the gold off anywhere between a week and a month.
You might actually devalue your flute if you have this done. I know that I will not buy a gold plated flute because of my known reaction to gold.
If you are dead set on it, you can ask these people.

I have never had any work by them, but I have been told they are good.
