Hey , flute-lovers !
I just heard an AMAZING flute played by a good friend of mine !
It is a Yamaha YFL-994 BHJK .
It is a 14K gold ( headjoint, body and footjoint) with sterling silver keywork.
It comes with a new Yamaha K series headjoint, I think it's based on Lafin's design.
I was so amazed by what I heard, its richness and projection.....it's a wide sound, man !!
I was at Twigg's in Montreal yesterday, that's where I heard it .
A good friend of mine works there and he told me they had only one in stock, but that they sale it at a special price.... something like 22 000.00 Can. $ instead of 28 000 or 29 000 $.
I thought I should let real players ( not like me..) know about it.... if you need me to get more informations from my friend, let me know !

Hmm, looking to me like your "Good Friend" is having troubles selling this instrument. So, let me guess. You are, no doubt doing them a big favor by advertising this instrument for them online.

According to your post history, the other thread you created was advertising a Yamaha tuba for the same music store. You haven't grasped the concept of "subtlety," have you?

Perhaps two separate usernames would have aroused less suspicion, but it's too late for that. Your hamfisted attempt at advertising really gave you away, and now any posts about Yamaha instruments from Twigg's (in Montreal!) are undoubtedly from you.

In fact, I wasn't planning to 'advertise', like you say, anymore instruments 'for' Twigg in the future.
I just went to visit Twigg's shop last week , heard two cool instruments that I'm trying to learn, and heard from my friend that they had just received them.
So I took a price idea, and , because they are rare instruments at big prices, thought it would be nice to let good players know.
Anyway, I don't think I did anything wrong, did I ?
