Is it necessary to have a finger saddle on a flute while we are playing ?
I do experience sore wrist when I'm holding my flute for too long, do I need a plastic finger saddle to correct my posture or something like that?
Or do I stick to playing like that and I will get use to it?
One said : The hand must bend backward at the base of the index finger just to support the flute. With the finger saddle, the tension caused by such an awkward position is alleviated, reducing the risk of carpal tunnel and other musculoskeletal disorders. I highly recommend it. It's adhesive free and being made of plastic can't harm your flute. It just snaps on and off.
I want to hear your suggestions, please help me.
I'd appreciate much here
