I'm looking at upgrading to a much better flute, and appreciated the answers I received regarding the Muramatsu EX the other day. While I wait to try one (they can't send me an offset G until next week), I'm going to be trying a Haynes Q2 today. It's one of the very few that I can try locally. I'd love to hear from anyone who's tried one or owns one. I'm a little concerned about the fact that they're built in China, as I've read quite a bit of info saying to stay away from Chinese made flutes. Thoughts?

I think when they say to stay away from Chinese made flutes, they are talking about the cheap ones on ebay that pretend to have all these great qualities, but really don't. I think ones from reputable makers who are having the work done in China are fine, but I've never tried one personally.
