Has anyone heard of the Avanti brand of flutes? They are a division of Conn-Selmer and they look like they are of good quality. Any Advice?

I bought an Avanti 2000 about 3 months ago. It is an amazing flute, and actually stays in tune without having to push or pull out the headjoint. I love playing it, and have gotten several compliments on its lovely sound. Bickford Brannen was in on the design and mechanism construction so I decided to spring for this flute since it was in my price range. Hope that helps.

I've heard these are very good quality flutes, though just a little pricey!
