Hey, I have a Gemeinhardt flute given to me by a friend. I was going to learn to play a year ago but that never worked out. So, I'm looking to sell it. However, I have no idea how much it is worth or what model type it is. It comes in a black hard case with blue inside padding, has a few very light scratches but seems to be in reasonably good shape. I guess my question is how much is it worth, and also if anyone would like to purchase it here. Let me know, and any information would be super appreciated. thanks.

Ok, found out it is a 2sp. So an older used one and in good condition, how much is that worth?

The Gemeinhardt 2SP is a student level flute. New, they sell for around $200. If this is a used instrument and it hasn't been serviced by a repair shop recently, the going rate on eBay is around $50. If you sell it to a local music store or pawn shop, you'll probably get less that that.

I agree with Musicman. You aren't going to get much for a student Gemeinhardt. They are a dime a dozen and not sought after like say Yamaha or anything.
