Look, guys, why can't you accept that Pyrioni might actually be good? He is a great flautist for his age, much, much better than I am!
It's no joke about money, though. My 15 year old B&H flute was £60 ($98) which I paid for myself, because my parents are not so keen on my flute playing, especially my dad. I work hard, and i'm saving to have it repaired and serviced before my grade.
However, parents are no joke either. Binx, i'm sincerely sorry about your parents. And Pyrioni, we are not all 'western spoilt kids'. We have to save up too. My dad lives with depression and had a 6 month sick leave, so we're struggling at the moment. Just because you have a Yamaha 211, does not mean you're worse off. Please don't attack our countries again. Horrible things happen here.
I hate the turn this thread has taken, so please stop. All of you.
Anyway, i'm saving up for a flute, not sure which though! My plan is to compile a list, save for the most expensive flute, then I'll trial them, and see which one I like, then I can buy any of them!!! Simples!

wwwwwwaaaaa.... more videos!!! Youtube will run out of room because of your sad videos.
But i dont need to keep videoing myself or keep acting as if i know eveything to prove things, im happy with how i am, got no need to keep posting ego tripping videos or posts.
Is that all you can do too, is to keep quoting from web sites.
Pyface, sorry about your dad, keep with it, as long as you enjoy playing it does not matter which flute you have.
Im sure binx too does not like what is going on too at the moment, but ill go, once pyeroni go's too, we dont want him here, sorry pyface.

"BTW- Pyrioni, if you're going to show off, play something that someone that's been playing for 7 months (me) can't play."
I owe you an apology, I wasn't talking about you on above posts, very sorry.
I used to play fast pieces like
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD0r3KRULn4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW7cmd3HJeE
but Patrick (a soloist and ex-german-orch-principal) of this forum saw my videos and then advise me to play slow pieces or pratise slowly. slow and easy pieces are more difficult to play correctly.

I worked hard on flute with my Yamaha 211, so what's the problem with this fact? Unlike you western spoiled kids, parents pay for all your expensive flutes, upgrades, professional models, oboes, guitar, clarinet, horns, skiiing shoes, video games etc...., but you are just a jack of all trades, and lazy rich kids never work hard on your flute. |
|
Please be careful when throwing around such words. This is not the case for many "western kids." There is a lot of poverty right here in the US. Sometimes I still get petty remarks on my flute which is unfair. The most my parents ever gave me was a nickel plated Bundy flute and paid for partial cost of a Gemeinhardt in which I saved up for two years for with baby sitting money. Even now as an adult I have paid for every cent of of my flute. It is not fair for the people and kids who have worked so hard for what they do have to be labeled as such.
Putting up video after video up of yourself playing is not helping, even if that was your intention. I am not sure why you feel the need to prove yourself to strangers in a flute forum. I know it is easier said than done, but sometimes it is easier just to walk away and put it behind you. It is not worth the stress. Go focus on lovely flute playing!

PYRIONI AND HIS SIDE KICK NEEED TO LEAVE! IF YOU WANT THEM GONE, PLEASE VOICE IT HERE,
http://www.8notes.com/f/4_255597.asp?report=2
I have got to tell you, I am fed up with all of this. I visit this forum to learn more about the flute as I am a beginner. I liked this site until this child starting posting and then his side kick joined in. Really Micron! you are old enough to know better! Please leave the site so we can have our forum back to normal!

Recordermom, what exactly have you got against Pyrioni and Micron??? Is it just to follow the crowd? Is it because you're jealous?
I do not see anything wrong with giving advice as Pyrioni and Micron have done, so please, if you're going to make such strong accusations, back them up. First lesson in arguing your case.
From a frustrated and extremely puzzled,
Pyface <Added>P.S If you're going to stoop so low as to advertising on a thread, don't do it here.
