We have a student here in need of a trill fingering for district band. Bb4 to C4. Anybody have any ideas? (Don't you love it when they use the flute section for sound effects? Why wouldn't the composer just use the piccolos to do this?) LOL.

Use the normal B fingering, but add the RH Eb key and trill the B key: B 1-3|--Tr2-Eb

That produces a B natural to C. We need a B flat to C. :-)

Try Bb 1-3|--3C, trill the thumb Bb

if the Pellerite fingering book is still available, try to get that, I have it in my gig bag all the time
