My understanding is that these are 'house brand' flutes and piccolos, made by Gemeinhardt, for Woodwind/Brasswind, with the same specs as comparable Gemeinhardt models. The reviews I read on the WWBW website actually seemed to be useful reviews, going over the scale, playability and durability of the instrument rather than a rave about the brand based on marketing (without benefit of exposure to other quality instruments).

oh really? gemeinhardt makes them? so for example if i were to buy a piccolo from germeinhardt like the 4p and buy a piccolo from the woodwind brand that looks similar to it would they sound the same?i guess what im trying to say here is would they both tune the same if that makes sence....... ?

I really wouldn't trust it, unless you want to use it for marching band or something...
