I have an armstrong model 104 and am looking for a step up flute. I like armstrong and im looking at the heritage series 1 and 2. I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried them and liked them. I heard that some people like emersons but they seem questionable to me. Please dont tell me to just get a yamaha because I'm already considering it.

It's natural to be somewhat partial to a brand that you are familiar with. Since you started on an Armstrong, you should try them, but you also owe it to yourself to try as many different flute brands as possible. Here's a list of some well respected flutes that you could consider.
