So I banged up my elbow two days ago so no practice at all .It hurts so bad cant bend bend it ugh .I really will appreciate now when it heals how fragile our life really is .One day your fine the next day in agony. Its healing but slowly and i miss playing the flutes .Oh well back to icing it ugh

These things happen. Why not spend the time listening to music or to read some flute books if it hurts when you try to play? It will pass before the wedding, as my granmother used to say without specifying which weddig she was talking about.

On one of Galway's online videos, he talks about how much of his current skill he owes to the fact that he was forced to practice on just a headjoint for a very long period of time. If you're not in the mood for a complete "break", this time might be an interesting opportunity to really go back to some basics!

Yippee I am playig again only a week to this day I guess i am a quick healer. i really appreciate the little things like opening a bottle and driving lol. Its a little sore but good!
