For those of you out there that have gotten step up flutes, what did you consider getting and what kind of brands did you keep in mind? How long did it take you to find a new flute?

I bought my Miyazawa after my teacher told me to that she thought I need to find a better flute than my Gemeinhardt. I went to a recommended shop and tried a few flutes (I think I also tried an Altus, a Muramatsu and a few more).
Anyhow, just after I bought the Miyazawa, one of my friends ask my if I want to buy his Yamaha 371 and since it sounded nice and he was willing to sell it for a low price, I bought the Yamaha.
Recently I tried out a new headjoint to the Yamaha, and now I think that the Yamaha with a Sankyo headjoint is my best flute, but I will also try out a better headjoint to the Miyazawa.
