What is the best brand of flute to purchase for a semi-beginner. What I mean by that is I played flute in college and just need to brush up on my fingerings/tonguing techniques...which my beginner band students are helping with.

The flute can be an open hole or a closed hole one...right now I`m borrowing one from the school I teach at and it`s horrible in my opinion....but I`m use to listening to open hole flutes.

Thanks for the help...also approx. cost of one would help as well. Trying to work in purchasing a flute beetween a new car and other things.
