It really depends on the key it is in, if it is in the key of D, all six closed is a D, then 5 an E and you go up from there.

I think you are talking about the renaissance flute !
It has six open holes.
The fingering is as follows,
1 2 3 4 5 6
D= x x x x x x
E= x x x x x 0
F= x x x x 0 x
G= x x x 0 0 0
A= x x 0 0 0 0
B= X 0 0 0 0 0
C= 0 x x 0 0 0
(x=cover fingered hole 0=open hole
1 2 3 are left hand finger holes
4 5 6 are right hand finger holes )
Get it ?
you may search the internet and find the other fingerings.
The other type of 6-hole wooden flute has a metal key at the foot joint. It is the baroque flute.
Good Luck !

H said that the flute is in the key of D but it is in C. You can get alto flutes that are in the key of G but then it just starts to get complicated...
