im new here but i recently started working at a music store as an aprentice for repairs. I happened upon a very old artley elkhart nickle plated alto flute serial number 301 exactly how old is this horn and sbould i get it for my sister who plays flute.

I figure it has to be pretty old considering the conn buyout in the early 60's and the 3 digit serial
