So my lessons teacher wants me to get a new flute, and the ones she's looking at for me are solid silver all throughout (minus the mechanism at the least, and they are all at least $2000, and my parents budget is $1500, and my lessons teacher is pretty skeptical of eBay.. I'm not sure what to do.


I've been playing for 6 years and I'm about to go into high school next fall. She wants me to get a flute before then?

What are good flutes that are solid silver and in my price range (used is fine), and websites to look on?

I know its been a while since you posted your question, but I thought this article may help you out a little. I know its mostly aimed at your first student flute, but there are some recommendations for models based on price at the bottom, and some of those would actually be considered intermediate flutes.
