I`m shocked at the patheticness of this forum lately.

What is the point in writing messages like this? This forum is for people who want help with their flute (not people like you who need mental help) and taking up space is pathetic. Ellie - don`t listen to ronda.

I dont have mental problems, and how would u kno if u never met me, I dont accuse u of being someone with metal problems and very rude, so dont accuse me. ok so yeah it might have been pathetic or w/e, but u didnt need to say it, i think we can realize that on our own. As for wasting space, others do it to, im not sayin that its right, im just sayin that it doesnt matter, if no one responds then who cares, it doesnt block anyone else from responding to another post or making one of their own.

I don`t know about the mental problems bit, but it was quite a pointless post. I just don`t understand why people waste their time with it.

How about instead of wasting time with a reply, you go and practice your flute? Time practicing is never wasted time.

I love the flute but I have just one problem... I love rock and metal music... How is this a problem you ask? I want to learn how to play some of my fav songs but they don`t really have flute music for that kind of stuff. I also run into the problem with mouny... I don`t have any extra that I can spend on special music books with the kind of stuff I`m lookin for. Even on this sight none of the free flute music is kewl to me.. Sure I like playing the pretty clasical stuff as much as any other flute player... but I want some rock!

Yeah, sorry about the mental problems bit. I`d just had an argument with my sister and I suppose I was kinda taking it out on you but it really annoys me when people type pointless posts. Friends?Anyway I`m gonna take Ellie`s advice and go practice my flute.

To the person who wrote about not being able to find flute music for metal and such: You don`t want to play metal on your flute. Trust me. When i first started to be able to play stuff by ear... I tried playing a lot of pop songs, and rock songs, and some other similar non-flute stuff. And with the occasional OCCASIONAL exception, it just sounded stupid. Trust me.

But if you still want the music... It doesn`t have to be flute music. If you can find other music, so long as it`s a melody and only has one note at a time, you can still play it on the flute. JUST because it isn`t written for flute doesn`t mean you can`t play it on the flute. If some of the notes are too low, you can transpose the entire phrase up an octave.

But trust me; flute doesn`t often lend itself well to these things, and there`s a reason there aren`t many metal/punk/rock bands with flutes in them. If you really really like that kind of music, and you really really want to be able to play them, I suggest you take up guitar or something, even if it`s only a hobby.

Get a life. Flutes are homosexual, and so are all of you.

wow,i didnt kno flutes could be homosexual, i thught they were inanimate objects,but if ur that dumb to think that they r then i dont think any1 can help
